The lady and the Coat

my try at street photography :D

this lady (asian lady) walking in well the other direction of most people and well compared to all the other she was dressed quite colour full

acctually all the asian looking people i came across were all very colourfull(cloths) compared to the others ... maybe because most of them are tourists but she clearly wasnt one so there must be another reason ...

I really like this photo! I thought about my comment before reading your explanations and I was thinking about the fact that people walk in the other direction and are dressed in dark as she's in light blue. Really nice urban photo! The chest is much more lit than the rest of the coat and so, it gives the impression that there is a ray of sun falling on her. I like to see the texture of her coat and the little details like the bag, the buttons.. her scarf is the ultimate color touch, like a cherry on a cake, it gives really a lot to the photo! well done, really!

@Soph: I'm glad you call it an urban photo because that was what i was going for that day to catch city people in action lol the light is a bit fixed so she attracts a bit more attention in the photo ... i this as abstract flowering is one of my best :) photos every it really turned out the way i wanted it to really like i imagined when i was pushing the trigger.

Great central area of focus. It shows she's concerned about tying her waist.

BTW, I'm an English teacher and your English is very good. Please continue to use English in your descriptions. :)

@Sashmo Au.go.go: thank you :) well she seemed concerned about yes she actually tied it up a few times before it was good. :d woman :p always so detailed when it comes to there clothing :p

my English :p mmh well I'll give you the email adres of my English teacher :) then you can discuss with her how on earth she decided to give me a C on my last exam :p ... its not bad :) i hear it alot that when i chat with people form English speaking countries that they find my English very good i guess all those hours of watching tv and playing games finally pay off :p ... oh just so you know there are mistakes in the description :p i guess you didn't spot them then :D

I think you caught a very good slice of street life in this interest-grabbing shot. Keep on doing whatever you were doing as a street photographer to get this one , it works.

Yeah, that's right... I didn't spot those mistakes... Because... you know... Im a shithouse English teacher who doesn't ever spot mistakes in spoken or written English... Watching TV to learn English? You should be ashamed! ;)

@MichelG: pff spotje 'k weet niet of je het zo kan noemen :D maar ja fotosoep heeft er mee te maken :) en nee niet de lighting effects

pff brugge ja het schijnt zo interessant te zijn maar euh ik denk het toch niet of ze zijn toeristen en die zien der altijd het zelfde uit ... en als ze der wonen kijken ze zo kwaad door de overvloed van toeristen die in de weg lopen dat het niet meer mooi is :p
