Me too I like the textures with their repetitiveness and direction. Also the bare tree in the background and the flowers in the foreground make a nice statement.

Very strange feeling for this photo, I like the presence of the cat but the black of the roof, the white of the walls, the texture of the sky.. it gives a little haunted style.. brrrr... even more with that shirt in the wind, the reflect of the houses in the windows... it's really full of details, I have the impression that someone is hiding behind the windows or in the darkness of the door.. very nice photo, really full of feelings!
